AEW Dynamite made a huge impact yet again with stellar content. The promotion gave us the gold of Miro making his AEW In-ring debut.

The match kicked off the episode, and fan reactions went sky-high. Miro managed to make a statement with a dominant display against opponents Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss.

However, the major talking point other than a perfect performance was that Miro looked like an absolute tank.

Seeing him shirtless for the first time in a long time really did make a huge impact. Miro had surely been working out a lot.

An impressive physique paid off in his debut as he completely outmuscled his opponents. In reality, Janela and Kiss stood no chance against the Bulgarian.

As Rusev in WWE, he had a great physique as well. Acting as a Russian giant, Rusev took the main roster by storm and assumed a political stance.

However, he couldn’t really make the impact he was capable of. Poor booking and subsequent main event losses saw Rusev lose his approval ratings.

The popular “Rusev Day” gimmick was also pushed down, preventing the Superstar from prospering again.

Earlier this year, Rusev was released by WWE as part of the pandemic budget cuts. He maintains his better relationship with the company to this day.

Hi, My Name is: Alexander Rusev (and Lana) - Cageside Seats

The Miro that we saw today was a lot more purposed and driven. His body was extremely defined and we can definitely expect this man to compete for the AEW Championship soon. He may just win it as well.

The major difference I saw in Miro’s physique was that his shoulders were like boulders. As Jerry Lawley once described Vince Mcmahon, he looks like one of those men from those Hercules movies.

His broad chest also was a lot more defined. The perfect shape that we saw today was almost pure muscle. Miro has cut out all the extra fat and looks better than ever.

With a unique gimmick and an ominous physique, we can expect the best from Miro in AEW. He has never disappointed us either, and I don’t think he will start now.

WWE had its huge Battle Royale for NXT with 11 Superstars fighting it out in the ring. The match was fought with utter mercilessness and Superstars went flying over the top rope. However, Candice LeRae managed to pull off an upset by picking up the victory

The match started off as a riot. Every Superstar brawled it out like a true bar fight, but it started getting more interesting as the stakes got higher.

Rhea Ripley entered in style and expected to easily win the tournament, but she was surprisingly eliminated! NXT Talent Kacy Catanzaro impressed with a very lion-hearted performance. She was undoubtedly the wild card.

However, she too couldn’t use the raw skill to her advantage enough and was eliminated. The finalists of the tournament were the favorite Shotzi Blackheart and Candice LeRae.

Few fans expected Candice LeRae to actually win the Battle Royale

Everyone expected Shotzi to get her second shot at the title, and compete in another superb wrestling showdown against Io Shirai. Fate had other plans.

Both Superstars found themselves in a fight for their lives outside the ring ropes on the steel steps. While technically out of the ring, neither of the Superstars’ feet had touched the floor yet.

Suddenly, Shotzi caught her opponent in a very unfortunate position, lying on her back at the bottom of the steel steps. Shotzi had it in her hands and attempted to kick Candice off. However, LeRae was a lot more tactful.

Using Shotzi’s position to her advantage, LeRae maneuvered and used her feet to thrust Shotzi off the ring and straight down to the floor!

The major upset was pulled off and all the trash talk had actually delivered! Candice LeRae will face off against Io Shirai for the NXT Women’s Champion. She stands a good chance of winning and making history at the same time.

Johnny Gargano for one is immensely proud of his partner, and we may see the title switch hands. Even though she does talk over her due, Candice LeRae surely has the skills to pay the bills.

Cody Rhodes has been missing from AEW television for over a month. He was last seen in a TNT Championship match with the hideous Brodie Lee.

However, he made a stunning return on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite. In fact, it was one of the most well-executed returns in quite some time.

There was smoke, there was fire, and there was pure sadism. The second he stepped on the ramp leading to the ring, he started showing his “new sadistic side.”

On top of that, the American Nightmare returned with black hair this time, which probably indicates the rise of a new character. Nevertheless, his grand comeback is evidence enough that he is not the same Cody Rhodes that once walked the AEW arena.

Overall, it was a great segment. From the beginning to the end, music and other aspects considered, everything aligned perfectly with the way Rhodes presented himself.

The very fact that he took the fight to Dark Order instead of waiting for it to come to him speaks volumes about how prepared he is to take on anyone who dares to cross his path.

In fact, when Lee took over as the TNT Champion, The Dark Order maliciously attacked The Nightmare family while Rhodes was unconscious. Therefore, the former champion will now be on a redemption arc.

Interestingly, Rhodes had teased his return before making his comeback. The ones who picked up on it already had a clue about what was going down at AEW Dynamite. However, while he may have dropped the ball about the return, nobody expected the return happening the way it did.

Brodie Lee reacts to the return of Cody Rhodes

Brodie Lee was left standing with an expression of absolute shock on his face. Even though he fled from ringside before Rhodes could get a hand on him, the ‘Exalted One’ was furious.

Lee called out Rhodes for the audacity of his return. According to Lee, Rhodes shouldn’t have returned by attacking The Dark Order. Additionally, he made it loud and clear that after being gone for five weeks when Lee was putting in the work, his return was nothing short of cowardice.

What kinda man sends another man to do his work? Did you see what I did to Dustin? Did you see what Anna Jay did to Brandy? What kinda man let’s his wife post Instagram thirst traps while calling me daddy? What kinda stays away in a little bubble? A man like  you Cody. But you are no man. You are a coward.”

Lastly, Lee affirmed that sooner or later, he will get his hand on Rhodes. Once he does that, it will be the end of the ‘American Nightmare.’

There is no doubt that AEW will build on this storyline. How they go about it is a story for another time. For now, The ‘American Nightmare’ is back, spreading horror throughout town!
